I don't remember it being on Ebay, but it has been for sale a few times in the past 2 years. 2 years ago you could have puchased the same car for $170K.

Ed, had it been repainted by the time you got it? When it was for sale 2 years ago they were claiming it was an unpainted, unrestored car. But if I"m not mistaken wasn't the car repainted like in the early 90's?

Yes the car was painted before I bought it. But that all, the rest of the car was really untouched. Great car all correct but that alot of cabbage for an auto? No offence to auto lovers!

Well I'm not exactly an auto lover, but my 500 is an auto. I personally wanted a 4 speed but when the 500 I have came up for sale I couldn't pass it up. As it was in my price range, and decent shape.

Well I'm not exactly an auto lover, but my 500 is an auto. I personally wanted a 4 speed but when the 500 I have came up for sale I couldn't pass it up. As it was in my price range, and decent shape.

Believe  it or not I did the same thing with my T5 car. I wanted a 4spd but did not like the color (At that time). After bringing it home cleaning it up the color grew on me. And the fact that it run and drives like a brand new car helps alot.
And for some reason the car never gets hot inside even in the hottest days of summer. I guess the light colored interior helps. So my beliefs now are auto or 4spd if its a good deal grab it. Either way they are cool cars!

I have wanted a 4 speed aero car since I was oh about 2 or maybe even earlier. But when the chance to get a real 500 came along 3 years ago and I could afford it, and it was a decent driver. I jumped on it. Glad I did because I have only come accross 1 other that I could have afforded over that span. But it wasn't a 4 speed either.
