After 15 months in the body shop, there's finally paint on my Charger!

Awesome work. I take it its a '68 judging by the color? Any other specs on your charger? Int. motor set up.Vinyl top or body color?
Keep the photos coming.

Well, it's a start anyway. After we get the engine compartment, door jambs & trunk painted, I'm going to bring the car home to put the engine, dash and steering column in. Then it's back to the shop to get the rest of the paint work done. I'm also going to have the vinyl top put on after the roof gets painted, hopefully next week. Then the rest of the parts are going to be put on, hood, trunk lid, fenders & doors, windshield & back window, and the final paint job, then the R/T stripe is going on, and it's back home for good to begin the reassembly work. I hope I can get it done in time to enjoy it this summer.

Mark, thanks, and yes, it's a 68. It was originally a Hemi car with a 4-speed, but unfortunately the original drive train was long gone when I found it, so I'm putting a 440 with a 4-speed and an 8 3/4" rear in it to get it on the road, and the next big investment will be a Hemi and a Dana rear end. The body and paint work are costing more than I thought , (what a surprise!) so it's going to have to wait a while. MM1 Bronze poly with black interior, black vinyl top, and black bumblebee stripe. No other options except a rear speaker on the factory AM radio.

Thats gonna be sweet when its done. My dad had a '68 charger w/a Hemi auto 8 3/4 That was back in the early 80's but man, when I did drive it, holy smokes! I used to take it out when he was at work. He knew, but he never got pissed about it. He would just make a comment and keep going about his business, ha-ha. Good to see your restoration work progress.
