My buddy has a dodge dakota and now the heater fan only works when it's on high. He just wants to make sure it's the switch and not the fan or something else.
Has anyone had to deal with this issue on any of their dodge trucks?  Is there a common cause?

thanks as always.

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

Replace the heater blower motor resistor, very common problem.

It's not a midlife crisis, it's my second adolescence.

Thanks, is that in the switch itself?  In his chevy truck that was in the switch so he had to replace it.

It is in the bottom of the heater box right above the passengers feet.
