after reinstalling my e-brake cable to the stock location,when i press down on the pedal its goes all the way dow  but doesnt lock into place.anyone have a pic of the e-brake setup to the rear cable or any idea of whats up

Make sure the release handle isnt stuck out.....when you press it down does it make a ratcheting sound?   If not then the release handle is stuck out....

no sound just the recoil of the e-brake pedal and cable

Then it sounds like the ratcheting mechanism is jammed......
