It's funny how someone, including myself, can perceive that as being in "decent shape" compared to some things after all these years. That was probably almost tossed in the scrap pile to be trashed when it was removed from the car way back when. I know I used to see better things get tossed. $400 for shipping? That seems a bit high unless it is in a wooden crate. Even then I think it's still high.

shipping is high alright, says item location Saxomburg PA. but the auction says it's in Florida.  :-\ can't wait to see what the reserve is.

I saw a Superbird nose cone sell on ebay near me about a month and a half ago.  It was in worse shape but not a lot worse, saveable I guess.  It had one of the headlight buckets as well.  The thing sold for about $400.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)
