Does any body have any installation pics  for the after market proportioning valve you get with the ssbc disc brake conversion kit? Any tips or pointers would be great. Thanks in advance. Craig

Hi Craig,
I'm doing on now on my '69. When I bought my lines from Fine Lines, Bill from F.L. sold me a distribution block in which you do not need the prop valve. It's basically a GM valve, already proportioned to equalize the brakes. He was very helpful in this, I've seen many cars since using this block. He even bent up the lines for me with the correct fittings for this block.

If you want to use the prop valve with the kit, you can. Most people I've seen place it on the inside of the driver's frame rail, rearward of the front tire.

I don't have the SSBC setup but I'm sure it's the same in principle. I was told to cut the brake lines and make new ends to fit the addition of the prop valve but I didn't want to cut any brake lines so here's what I did instead:
