Any of you locals ever go to this event?...I know it is more of a custom show but I don't have much going on this weekend so I thought I would bring my kids.

Is it any good?......I see they have Chip Foose coming as a draw.

Well I went this year , And I have to say it was a better than the last few years I've attended !! I Guess Chip and AJ brought a little inspiration to get the show back up to the standards it was when I was younger.
I'm waiting for the Performance World Show in March, Thats a much bigger/Better event .

well I went. I was pretty disappointed. Not as many cars as I would have expected and it was more a sales add than a car show. Growing up in Windsor I remember going to the Autorama when I was younger and that is kind of what I expected. I kept thinking there had to be more to it but I finally excepted how small it was. The line for Foose was totally ridiculous. They said the wait was like 2-3 hours to get an autograph.I actually went on the other side of his booth to buy a hat for my daughter. I came to realize it was Chip's wife doing the selling. My 2 daughter's got a her autograph and a picture. She was actually very nice and took a few minutes to talk to us.
Way too many Chevys and not one Charger!.......at least not one pre-Creeder

I didn't know you were a Windsor boy.  When did you live there?

Born and raised in the East Side (Central and Tecumseh) moved to South Windsor when I bought my first house and then moved to T.O. in 1996 because of work. Still have more friends there than here.......especially Mopar lovers!

Born and raised just up the road in Chatham.  Here now but I spent a few years on tour, part of which put me in Windsor for about a year in the early 80's.  I lived over near the university but I forget the street name now.  Still try to make a few of the cruise nights once in a while.

Sydmoe..
Where you located now ?
Yeah the Show is still a bit lame but it is better than it has been as of late.
