Some of my Chargers could probably be bought for a "fair market value" price, while others like my triple black car could only be bought by some fool willing to spend "triple fair market value" money to get it.  In other words... the car is not for sale!

:iagree: If someone were to actually offer that kind of money, I'd sell it & go find a '70 that's finished. :yesnod:

But that ain't gonna happen, so I'll just keep it. :icon_smile_wink:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Tough question... I got a RIDICULOUS offer on my car a month ago and turned it down - in 2 months everyone will see why...  :yesnod:

I wouldn't sell...period. I've already had people offer me stupid money, and I've turned them all down flat.
The reason being, I've sold cars I regretted selling. And I don't wish to repeat that mistake.

And besides....there's the cool: "I've got a Charger and you don't" thing.

though i say i would sell the r.r. but not the charger,.. i probably wouldn't sell either cause it's not in the plan...  :rotz:

70 Charger RT

December 05, I sold my 70 RT for a cool $60k.  I would NOT have sold it for $50k.  It was just enough to push me over the edge.  I knew I could go out and get another Charger RT.  Then in Dec 06 I picked up a 69 RT SE numbers matching a/c car that doesn't need nearly as much work as my 70 did.  So I consider myself ahead.  Remember, always move up...

That being said, my brother gave me his 70 RT that needs a total resto (that I'll be picking up in the spring).  I will NOT sell that car once it is done because it has sentimental value.

I sold my rr this summer.  It was a 69 plumcrazy white interior 383 4 speed.  I'm still crying.  So dont sell

BlueSS454

I wouldn't unless someone offered me enough so that I didn't have to work again, IE retire, and have enough leftover to buy another one.  I've turned down a few serious offers on my 70 SS Chevelle.

I would never sell my 70 Charger(ok a million would be hard to turn down) cause i would never find one like that again....

THE COLONEL

I had said, after I got The Colonel, that if someone offered me a ridiculas price of $20,000 or more for a base model 318 Charger....it would be gone.  Well, in August of 2005, I had that offer, and I just could'nt do it.  I was even offered cash for it.  I have grown too attached to the car, and it was a pain in the (you now what) to find the right one.  I didn't want to have to go through that again.....and neither did my wife want me to put her through it again! :icon_smile_big:

For enough money everything is for sale. I have my car up for sale right now with no takers yet. But I have actually been looking at other cars like 32-34 ford 2 door sedan street rods, Kinda weird but I have always like those and even more than the coupes.

I agree.  I have the base model 318.  People always say they want to buy it.  The problem is that they ask some really stupid questions ask for a million pics then they don't buy or bid.  So when someone says how much.  I just make up a really high price
