As I was on my way to work, I caught a red light at an intersection where I need to turn left.  Once the light turned green, I started making my turn, when I saw some movement out of the corner of my eye, so I glance over, and see a female driver going MUCH too fast to be able to stop for the red light.  I didn't even have time to think, I just slammed the brakes as she.  She hit her brakes a second later, and slowed down a littlel, still going through the intersection, passing within a foot of the front of my car.  If I hadn't noticed her, she would have slammed right into my drivers side door.  I wasn't wearing a seatbelt, so if that had happened, I'd have been in big trouble.  Of course, I was stupid for not wearing my seatbelt, and I fully intend to wear it every time I drive now, but Jesus, some people should not be behind the wheel of a car.
Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.  Especially if they have access to the internet.

call local cops, report her. Of course if theyre like we got them here, they're too busy to give out tickets instead of helping out people

With my commute, I see these idiots every day.

2 weeks ago some moron cut me off and i hit him. Insurance pays, I get the car fixed and get it back on Friday. On Monday, sitting in front of a light right in front of my office, I get rear-ended by some guy who is on his cell phone....

:iagree:  I had this happen to me yesterday in my T/A.  I was so freaking pissed and the lady just looked at me like it was my fault.

THE COLONEL

I've had a couple close calls in The Colonel, and no, not my fault either.  Basically just pulling out in front of me.  I am not a happy person when that happens!!!!! :RantExplode: :RantExplode:

i'm sure i've written here before about the drivers who make right turns directly in my path without so much as a glance to their left as they round a corner.    :o

glad your ok... I allways assume the other driver is on meth, on the phone, and dosen't care if they live or die.
