I would be interested to see any pics as well.  My cars wiring was a mess and there was no gauges at all when I got it.

rustycharger

so far thats the hardest part. rats at most of the other wireing but i can fix them.

Heres what mine looked like when I got it.

looks like mine. i striped it all out today and lucky i only have to fix one floor pan. but i am missing the whole grill and bumper set up in the front. i'll ave pic of it tomorrow.

The bumper and grilles shouldnt be too hard to come by, I put the hideaways from a 72 on mine

Shame I didn't take pics when I did mine last week. I'll try to get a description about where runs every harness section. First you need to identify every plug... wiper, headlights, cluster plug ( if standart ) or plugs and bulbs ( if rallye ) etc...

Is hard give you an explanation, at least to me, but I'll give a try.

First you need to see a main splice point where are 4 arm ( 5 on 74 models ). This "arms" are on Rallye harness:

In order you will find this plugs:
#1- warning seatbelt light, wiper, lights, Black wire with female spade terminal that feeds the heater or A/C IF this harness is not attached, dimmer lights source, chassis ground terminal, door jam switch terminals, emergency brake terminal, dome and rear harness plug and dimmer foot switch at the end.
#2-all bulbs and 90º bullet kind plugs, also some female spade terminals. This is all to cluster.
#3-Ashtray and light plugs, turning flasher plug, Batt source, Door ground source, passenger side door jam switch terminal ( yellow wire ).
#4- Is the one coming from bulkhead and fuse box. You will see several plugs coming out there, like NSS ground ( brown traced yellow ), accesories source, Brake pedal switch ( pink and white ), hazzard flasher plug,  Radio plug, blue wire plug used to some specific option comming from ignition switch blue wire, and of course the ignition switch and turning light switch plugs.

diagram trying to help.

The rectangle in the middle is a channel where some wires pass throught to pass over the cluster and brackets located there. The first wires coming from that channel is the seatbelt warning light plug.

Back of panel does have casted labeled every color to every gauge and socket hole, so don't worry about that.

Standart cluster harness is bassically the same with just two differences, wiper plug is located on passenger side of cluster and cluster sources is a round multipin plug. This come allong together from main splice point.

I can be forgetting some extra equipment plugs location, like seatbelt and Lights warning buzzer plugs. Seat belt buzzer I think is coming on arm 3 and attachs at a glovebox side,  and lights warning buzzer is on red circle area.

Another wires SEPARATED FROM MAIN UNDERDASH HARNESS are:
-Red wire to glove box light. Parallel to the arm 3 up to back of ashtray area plugged on pink batt source.
-Orange wire to floor shifter ilumination. Parallel to arm 3 and runs up to arm 1 orange source located on back of driver side dash vent area. Runs throught hanger channel.
-Heater or A/C harness. Linked to harness on one or two points. Heater just on black wire around wiper/headlight switches. A/C on same point plus on accesories source on underdash harness ( red circled ). Of course also runs and attachs parallel all allong the underdash harness. Goes to engine bay I think with a grommet throught firewall. Earlies models use empty cavities of bulkhead form tranny harness plug.

for rest of extra equippment ( map light, courtesy ignition light and flasher, speakers etc... ) just ask and will let you know

i looked and seen were u r talking about. i will go and trace down wires and if i am luck the wires wont be chewed up. i found rats in the car when i got it but all were in the back seat area.

as stated, I will let you know where runs every wire, plugs and its function. If you have a dig camera will be better if you take pics about what exactly you need. there is LOTS of details I passed over because would it be a very long reply with so much details that you will lost on words with all the different equipment options.
