it must be Hemi 71 Charger R/T week on e-bay! $125,000 so far http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Dodge-Charger-HEMI-71-426-Hemi-Super-Bee-Survivor-1-of-only-23-made_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ6199QQihZ012QQitemZ220071497465QQrdZ1

He had all his cars at Carlisle last year. I think I have a pic of them together. Lowest price I believe was $185,000. The 2 plymouths were $225,000 or something like that.

tim wellborn had 10 of his 71 hemi chargers/super bee's at carlisle (he has 23, maybe more now) and for the seller yes, all 3 hemi cars were for sale I talked to the owner and said "why dont you talk to tim?" and he said "i find cars for him and sell to him quite often" when i asked tim was he interested in th 2 hemi charger's he said "but i have a red one, and a butterscotch one..." then went on to say "but if he wants to talk to me maybe we can make a deal..." (i got the impression he thought they were overpriced) i was suprised he hadnt bought them btw how does tim get 10 hemi chargers to carlisle? the answer? 2 eighteen wheelers...btw that butterscotch hemi charger has been fo sale on ebay before this isnt the first time.

THE CHARGER PUNK

tim has a butterscotch superbee but not an r/t?

The other cars for sale were Scotts from Oklahoma.  He wheels and deals with the higher end cars.

Tim's a smart man.  Tim had a liking of these cars a long time ago.  So he got these cars reasonably. It was great hearing the story from him.

Charger Aficionado

The guy who had my T7 '69 R/T SE  had a FC7 '71 HEMI Charger that was MINT.  After purchased the R/T SE, I went back to see him, and he said he sold the '71 for $60k (due to having a heart attack).  He said it was a #'s match car, and I definetley remember the pistol grip.  I wonder what that car was worth?
