Something doesn't seem right about this whole deal?

There was just a thread somewhere ( moparts I think) with pictures of that very same Charger on a trailer heading north on 287. One would think he OKed it with the old lady first. I wonder what the REAL story is?

Ya know, I'll be willing to bet this auction might be a scam. How many times have we seen the exact same car on ebay, with the exact same pictures, for sale right after an auction has closed?

70charger_boy

hmmmm....it would be a shame if this guy lost 30 grand on the sale of this car.  It must have been legit because the guy had his phone number in the auction.

Troy

If you read the questions he states that he bought the car directly from the seller. The previous listing was a broker who bid up his own price after realizing  there was no car to sell. I sincerely hope no one paid that much for a car where everything was painted without tape! Either way, it sucks to buy a car only to be forced to immediately sell it. It's possible that he's only trying to flip the car (maybe the original seller cut him a deal to avoid the shady broker?) and made up a story in case people asked. Who knows.

Troy
Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

Your circumstances are very rare in a husband/wife split I would guess. Most guys get hosed badly.

I live 50 miles from the car and I'm going to settle this once and for all.  I'm going to see the car and make him an offer he can't refuse and if nobody hears from me by tuesday call the cops

It is nice to hear some other guy was as lucky as I was. I to got the kid, the house the cars. I just wish the ex would pay the last 15 months of child support! My daugter (5) loves the charger, AKA "Daddies Car"!

The auction is fishy, how could it be a "one owner car" if he just bought it and is resaleing it? Maybe I missed somthing? I would have to see it in person and have everything notorized.

All I can say is you are 1 lucky guy

Silver R/T

Got no wife so don't have to worry about that. Car looks very good in pics anyways. In this state guy would get screwed and wife would get child support/house, etc.
