Ya think. When you can buy complete running cars for the price of metal noses that aren't even originals, there's something wrong. Would love to find a decently priced metal for sure.

Kind of hard to compare them when you can't get one. I tried to order one from Mike twice...fall of 2005 and summer of 2006. He said that he wasn't building them at the time. That's why I had Don Currie build mine. Had it in a couple of months. Janak's nose takes about two years to get, but they are very nice. Gene Gregory has the steel version for around 6k. The best one of all.

It's not just the nose. If you add the prices up from Janak's price sheet, it definitely hits 4 grand for all of the stuff. About the only things missing are the fender scoops, grille and the rear wing stuff. Janak gets about $6800 for the whole kit, so 4 grand is about right on this stuff. Add to that the wait time for the Janak stuff.
