I just received my July 4th edition of NHRA National Dragster. On page 90 is a full page article on Pete Farber and his 1969 Daytona Pro Mod!
He recently won his first event in Pro Mod! Way to go Pete!

Thanks for adding the picture and video! Quickest 69 Daytona that I have ever seen!
I wonder if the designers at Chrysler ever thought something like that would be created?

i was there on sunday. there were 34 cars trying to make the 16 car field. the weather cost pro-mod one of their qualifying sessions, so just making the show was something of an accomplishment.

pete laid down a nice pass, but was already safely in the show. chip king's turbo daytona, however, never came close to getting in.
