Hey Guys -

I need honest opinions here - does anyone know ANYTHING about this Daytona replica - I am not so much worried about the obvious lack of a rear window plug, but does anyone about the actual car itself... motor, trans, who built it, how it was built, concerns etc... also is there someone in the Miami area that can go and look at it for me.

Cheers and thanks - Mike

I think it has been for sale for a very long time !

Mike,

Larry's right - this car has been for sale a while now.  Here's a link to an old thread about this car - the links were inactive and cleaned out a while back (see Troy, I do housekeeping in here every now and then!!)

70charger_boy

99 grand.  That is way overpriced, especially for a fiberglass front end

TomP

It doesn't even have a rear window plug or short trunk lid, so it's really just a Charger with a nose and a wing on it.

  Half a clone......

With no power steering and that tiny steering wheel, it must be user cruel to drive.    Manual brakes too.

BigBlockSam

tough ride , i can deal with no power brakes but i need power steering

I was kinda of thinking the same thing as well... I know the price is neg. but still with no rear plug I just can't see it being worth the money, even with the hemi in it.

69bronzeT5

Yea, 99k is abit high for that...even with the Hemi like you guys said.

Daytona R/T SE

99K ?      You can build a better looking clone for half of that $$$  Ok, it might be a 440 but... whoopty f@#k !

NYCMille

Do me a favor then and find me one because I've been looking everywhere and can't find one - main concern is I want a steel rear plug and wing - a fiberglass nose doesn't concern me so much.

PocketThunder

What about Daytonalo's car?  Or has that been considered already?  Its a hemi car and i think he wanted 50k for it.   :shruggy:

Hey Mike, what up?? :scratchchin:

Is Mr Angry well...ANGRY?? or the opposite?

Look like you have BIG plan! A wing car!

Care to share a little?? :popcrn:

Honestly... I would love to share... a lot, but at this time I can't, I can only say that I am going to build a winged car and when all is said and done it will be pretty radical....

SO that being said, if anyone knows of a clean 1970, 440, 4-speed Charger, please let me know as I need to get this project rolling...

Please PM me with details.

cheers - Mike

Mike I can built you one no problem, pick the color, engine anything you would like, no hold bars, but you have to shrink down to 1/24 :eek2:

HEMI W/NOS?

Twin Turbo SETUP?

440 SIX PACK W/AC?
