anybody see this show on cbs that makes celebrities into cops.  This is freaking great!!!!

bull

No, but I heard about it on the Adam Carolla show this morning. I'm a regular there now since Bonaduce showed up and I guess he's good buds with Estrada whose on that show. It sounds like it would be pretty entertaining.

I was amazed that Latoya Jackson held her own and believe it or no, Jack Osbourne would make a pretty good cop

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

I have watched from the first and I find it to be a decent show. While I know that they have had limited training They seem to be doing a fair job as officers. Eric E. seems to be having fun as a real cop and his interaction with the public is very good. They all seem to be trying very hard to do the job correctly. I agree Jack Osborne would make a good full time officer. They were all on Bob & Tom radio show yesterday and they gave the police department 3 or 4 new Hummers as a gift when they left. They said they would be back to Muncie in the future. They left all their attitudes at the door and work as normal officers. Good show.

I think it would be cool to have Ponch pull me over for a tail light ticket. Growing up watching "Chips" as a kid would make me star struck still all these years later.

This show is hilarious, I recommend it.
Earth. Even the word sounded strange to me now... unfamiliar. How long had I been gone? How long had I been back? Did it matter? I tried to find the rhythm of the world where I used to live. I followed the current. I was silent, attentive, I made a conscious effort to smile, nod, stand, and perform the millions of gestures that constitute life on earth. I studied these gestures until they became reflexes again. But I was haunted by the idea that I remembered her wrong -Solaris

The show was filmed in Muncie Indiana. I am only a half hour away, and on our local news, that is all you heard about.

I'm the one who wrote the thread way back when the plans for this show first came out.

And I am from Muncie, Indiana.

I'm happy to see that this show hasn't trashed my hometown, and has even brought light unto the finer aspects of my hometown and it's people.
Whenever I watch it, I always look for familiar streets, and whenever they find the bad members of the crowd, it never surprises me what streets and in what part of town they find them in.

Some things never change.

Officer O'Dell who is partnered up with the midget was a kid I grew up with in my neighborhood.  We could always be seen with other kids, running around the whole neighborhood playing "war".  Man, those were the good ole days.  You could let your kid out in the morning and not expect to see him until lunchtime or suppertime.

Those days are lonnnnnnnng gone.

I'm happy this show seems to be a hit.  I think it's good for my hometown.  It makes me proud.
