California is a biiiiiiig state.  I'm probably 12 hours North of you and still in California...and there's still another 3-1/2 to 4 hours North of me to get to the Oregon border.  May have to split things up into Southern, Central, and Northern.

We'd like to end up in central coast area if we could but real estate is prohibitive. Maybe someday I'll sell everything and buy a 1/32 acre lot for a million.

Used to go to the bay area about 3-4 times a year spending about 4-6 weeks total but now just once a year or so, we'll be in S.F and Monterey in late July.

Luckily we now have annual training seminars in the Monterey area. I'd really like to live in Pacific Grove!!

Where at on the central coast?  I'm looking at houses now, and there are several on 1+ acres under 500K in the wine country.  Actually I'm trying for a 10 acre lot a few miles from town for under 700 and a 10 year old house.  The market is finally decent in the area.

San Diego, here...   :scratchchin:  As for cars just check my 'sig pic, although I'm REALLY thinking about picking up a nice '98 T/A-I've been dying to get into the LS-1 club.  As for hanging out, ever heard of or attended "Cruisin' on Grand" in Escondido?  It's every Friday night in beautiful downtown Escondido, with everything from custom street rods, Cobra replicars, new/old muscle, etc.  I remember last summer they even had some pro-stock dragsters that put on a sound show for everyone...
