Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

Welcome to the best charger site around!  Looks like you have a sweet project going there!  Cool!  So what drivetrain are you installing??
Tomorrow is promised to NOBODY . . . .

My uncle has a 440 4 barrel out of a 68 dodge so i figured i would use that along with the 727 auto and the 91/4 rear end but not sure about the rear end yet.
:drive:

mikepmcs

go with an 8 3/4 rear or a dana 60.  stay away from that other one you mentioned.  I'm guessing it has an 8 3/4 in it right now.  show us a picture and we'll tell you if you are unsure.

welcome aboard,  some 3rd gens had the 9 1/4 rear under the big blocks, kinda looks like a dana, but it aint, I would prefer the 8 3/4 to that.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Well i got most of it apart just not the suspension and k frame, also a couple of little things.  These are pictures of the problems with the body.  The first picture is of the tail panel I don't think it can be saved, hoping to find a used one or something.  Second picture is of the trunk pan.  Third picture is the sail panel kinda rusty.  Fourth is the back seat the far back of the drivers pan is rusty but i think for the rear most of it is surfice rust.
:drive:

Some more. One of the wheel openings has a rust hole and the rear window frame has alot of rust damage.  Also looks like someone took their anger out on the hood with a pick or something.

I think something this month ill have everthing off the car and i can figure out what to do with the body work.  Not sure with lack of skill that i could take on a job like this.

My hood looks like that. Except it was a bunch of teenagers with car keys. It happened back when it was in the field.

Welcome and good luck. I have LOTS of respect for people who tackle big projects like yours. Hey,  I couldn't do it, but without guys like you many of our beloved Mopars wouldn't be on the road.  By the way, you may know this already, but theres a lot of really good guys that respond to the body and paint section of this site with excellent suggestions. I learned a lot from reading those threads.

venom04

Yea ive been picking peoples minds over there
