I would like some help figuring out the right .30 over pistons for my build.  Heres the direction im headed.  Not building a world beater here.
Motor is a 440 1974 model ( I'm wanting 10.5 - 1 compression)
Stock rods, around a 528 lift mopar cam, a little work in a pair of 906 heads ( Port and polish ),dual plane aluminum intake, holley 750 double pumper, 727 tranny w/ 2500 stall, 1 3/4 headers, 2 1/2 inch exhaust.

This is going in a 68 charger with 8 3/4    4.10 posi
My big question is domed or flat top and why?
Its going to be a weekend driver around town.

anything advice or criticism will help.

Thanks, Rob

906 heads?    Shoot for 9.5 compression unless you want to listen to the soothing sounds of detonation running pump gas.    So basically... flattops.

Speedpro 2355 forged pistons are perfect for that application. They weigh almost the same as a factory cast piston so balancing will be close and it should be done while it's all apart anyway.  ;)

Resulting compression will be in the 9.3-9.5 range which is ideal for pump gas with an iron open chamber head.  :yesnod:

I agree Speed Pro 2355 flat tops , they will give you the right compression & better burn being a flat top

I agree also, get the 2355s.
