Trying to figure out what the switch connect to and is it part of the main loom?  I'm starting with a roller car and I can't figue it out.  What does the switch connect to, where does it run to the trunk?

Just 6T9 CHGR

The main harness behind the dash has the pigtail already in it (at least mine did when I added the rear defroster)

The wiring runs down the pass side of the body into the trunk

Would you happen to recall the color of the harness?  It sounds like I'm missing another harness to get the power to the trunk.  I can't find anything on it in my schematic.

Wires are black and white. Harness itself is juts tapped.

That is a seperate harness that is only part of the rear defroster setup.   The pigtail for the switch is already in the dash harness.

You'd be better off making up the 2 wires to the trunk yourself....

That's excatly what I have...now what ???.  I got a shell car and LUCKILY that switch was laying in the trunk.  I have the harness on it, looks jus tlike yours 8WHEEL.  I can't seem to locate where it plugs into on my harness.  once it does plug in, where does it go.  I'm assuming there are two connections on the main dash harness??  You know how much the last switch like that went for on eBay?  $100!!!  Nuts eh?

Thanks

green wire is just the feed from accesories source to feed power. Up to trunk just run black and white.

Is an easy job to do by yourself for a while you find the female plug and terminals.

AWESOME!  Just what I needed.  I'm assuming it's self grounded to the rear and by the looks of it, it's a 2 speed.  Thanks gang!

Black and White are fast and slow speed. Yes ground is direct chassis, Green is input. I could draw wrong balck and white wires location but you got the idea. If they are wrong located juts will need to turn around them.
