I know most of us have been blasted by a lot of heat this summer.
Does this pic cool you guys off :boogie:

It's not a midlife crisis, it's my second adolescence.

Telvis

I will take the heat over the cold anytime. :yesnod:

:iamwithstupid:..(woops)...ummm... :iagree: :icon_smile_big: I'd rather sweat my a$$ off that freeze my a$$ off!!

The very idea of posting white crap pics while we're in the middle of a bitchin' heatwave! :icon_smile_big:

BTW, I noticed the dirt buildup in those wheelwells...WTF? Chop, chop Man...SCRUB! :smash: <---smiley chipping away at dirt :icon_smile_big:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Chryco Psycho

I will never complain about heat !! maybe if summer arrives it will get Up to room temp , I wonder iif summer will be opn a Wed again this year ???

TruckDriver

The comfert zone for me is temps from about 65 to about 75 degrees with low dew points/humidity. I'd rather be in the cold though as it is easier to get out of the cold to stay warm then it is to get out of the heat. You can strip naked and still be hot as hell, but you can always cover up with more clothes or blankets to get out of the cold. :Twocents:

My job has a broken air conditioner, so, I have to work in 90-100 degree heat.  It was bad enough for my short little shift yesterday, but, today and tommorow, I have 9 hour days..... :(

Ugh...I HATE snow. Lived in Wisconsin my whole life and the only time I ever like the crap is when it got us out of school for the day.

I'm sure spoiled,.. the best thing about San Francisco is the weather... we have real A/C called fog, but the bay area has alot of "micro-climates", Kind'a works like this... every ten minutes you drive east the temp goes up approx 10 degrees...  :icon_smile_big: but it's usually between 55-70 here...
It's only snowed here in sf twice since i was a tyke, and once about four years ago it got up to 106. 10 yrs. ago, i was in Sacramento when it was 112, and i can't deal with that... especially in a vapor locked, overheating, triple black, MOPAR with no a/c..   :icon_smile_dead:

69_se_ron

It's hotter here in Nashville than it's been in several years...my garage is detached and not air-conditioned (113 degrees in there :flame:) so I can't even stand to be in there and tinker with the Charger.

I hear yah, Ron.

My garage is the same way.

Here near the gulf the humidty is awful too.

I can stand heat, but when all you do is sweat, and then sweat more, without it going anywhere... it's just hell.

At least in dry heat a slight breeze will cool you off, but here is makes it worse sometimes.

I'll take the cold thank you.  During cold weather you can put on  jacket, get a fire going, or hopefully lie on top of the hot chick next door in the backseat of a '69 Charger....
But in the heat..there's just no escaping it.  It's just everywhere and it's just so.........HOT....Yuck!

Telvis

Speaking of heat. The fair is in town and today is the last day. Like an idiot I promised my kids I would take them a few weeks ago. I have tried to put it off ever way possible. I offered to take them to Gatti Town instead (indooor carnival with AC). NOOOOOO they have to go to the fair. Nothing like walking around a loud stinky fair with temps in the high 90's. I won't even go into the people. Those carnival workers with their rodent like features. It's gonna be good times!:rotz:

BigBlockSam

it's to hot. i bought a canopy today. helps but it's still hot.

I like the heat!  Live for the lake!!  Winter is so long here in Michigan!  Summer is longer than Chryco's at least!
Tomorrow is promised to NOBODY . . . .

Charge It!

I dunno. This stuff isn't that far away.

Telvis

Well I managed to talk my kids into Gatti town instead of the fair. I spent $80 for cold pizza, flat soda and some lame video games. My kids left with $2.50 worth of prizes and it was hotter than a mother f-er in there. I prefer the heat to the cold but this heat wave we are having is rough. A nice 70 degree day sounds good about now.

69_500

The hea is definatley here to stay for a while. I don't mind the heat as much as I hate the cold. However working 12 hour days in 100+ degree heat isn't my idea of fun either.

TruckDriver

Ya, but remember I work in the hot asphalt feild. They make the asphalt at or around 350 degrees. And it doesn't cool down that much by the time it gets to the paver. So you got the 350 or so degrees asphalt, plus air temp, plus all the humidity. Eventhough my truck has air conditioning, it still get s hot when you have the window down. Plus the box of the truck gets hot and when you sit still, you can feel the heat trying to move into the cab.

I hear you on the asphalt thing. I work for a construction company here in indiana, and we were laying water mains the other day along side of a paving crew. Definatley not my idea of a vacation when the outside  temp was already 97 with 85% humidity.

NHCharger

Yup, I work construction and the heat makes the days seem longer. However, when I start to bitch about the heat I just click on one of my 2002 winter pics and the heat doesn't seem so bad.

Now that's snow!

I can't stand the winter. All the pictures of the snow are depressing me :icon_smile_sad: . I think I'm going to move to Arizona with my sister.

Chryco Psycho

That is NOT cool , I was starting to Thaw out & you post pix of what I get to see 9 months / year  :flame:  :eyes:
It hasn`t even warmed up here yet ... god thing I went to Michigan for 2 weeks

hey chryco its seems to be getting that way down here in new england!the summers are getting shorter or i.m getting older .my garage is not heated so i lose so much time of working on the cars in the off season that it makes me sick!!

matt43

We take all the nice weather we can get!

MoparYoungGun

I have lived in Minnesota all of my 14 years and every time winter comes and it gets freezing I start to
complain and whine my ass off. I just can't stand it, the thought of 6in of snow and 20 degrees depresses
the crap out of me. Although I do go down and visit my Aunt and Uncle down in Florida quite frequently in
the winter. Heck, I even go down in the summer. As a matter of fact I'm going down there Friday!
Anywho, I know that I won't stick around this frozen hell hole any longer than I have too  !

BrianShaughnessy

Another spring/fall guy here.    I hate lots of snow / cold / humidity / heat.

In the meantime,  this year is weird... by now my grass should be brown and I get a break from mowing... but I'm still mowing almost twice a week... this sucks.

I don't actually want it to be brown but I refuse to pay a high water bill and I let it go dormant if that's what it's gonna do.

That snow would be great to have here now, we only have few days per year with it.
Outside temp is going to be around +100 these days.  :flame:

Ohio has been 90+ with 85% humidity, I worked on my Charger Sunday and  you sweat sitting still. I am fortunate to have a pool to cool off in during breaks on the working on the Charger. Today is supposed to be the hottest day of the year and I need to replace the rear brakes on my daughters car SAFETY FIRST when it comes to her driving.
