You probably need a new turn signal switch.

brown and green wires of course drives left and right turning signals, but since this bulbs uses same brighter filament to the brakes and hazard functions then the wires are also the same to all those functions.

Check down your column. You will notice you have same colors wires than taillights but coming from inside column on one harness. Check if you have power there.

yeah thats the one, and is really good price for the CORRECT PIECE FOR THE RIGHT APPLICATION 70-74 Mopars without tilt steering column. Mopar replacement parts are with extra wiring for some Big Chrysler models to make works the same on all cars.

what I was saying is ( I'l try to explain it easier )

Rear bulbs have two filaments, one low shine to positioning or parking function and the shine filament to brakes, turning and hazzards lights. This SHINE function is feeded with brown wire on one side and green wire to the other side.

when you use turning lights just brown OR green is feeded, for a while the other side keeps working as usual ( brakes ).

when You don't have turning then pedal brake send power to both sides THROUGHT the turning switch, so then you'll have brakes on both green and brown wires.

Those  brown and brown wires on taill lights are the same you'll see on turning switch harness. You can try to cehck if you have power there. If you do, then problem is not on switch, is on rear harness ort terminals. But if you don't, then is damaged switch.

anyway is hard those wires come bad, I think more the switch. They are starting to came bad now hehehe.
