I went to Superstore (its a canadian walmart) and I was walking around when I found a bin full of hot wheels for 1.22 each. So anyways, I go through the bin and I find a purple 70 Challenger RT Hemi. I left the store with 4 of those Challengers and a Oscar Mayer Weinermobile!.

Hotwheels are lame. Poor quality and detail. You're paying for the name. Johnny Lightning, BadRides, Drodz and some of the other makes are much better. Musclecargarage has some very nice models out right now. Just got about 30 of them, various makes (no Hotwheels) for $1.00 each on clearance at my local Wal-Mart the other night.

The bugle sounds the charge begins. But on this battlefield no one wins.

Oh I agree that Hotwheels quality is pretty bad.  But I didn't say I was a collector.  I bought them for my 5 year old to play with.  He plays with Johnny Lightnings too.  :icon_smile_big:

Daddy ran whiskey in a big black dodge
bought it at an auction at the masons lodge,
Johnson County Sherriff painted on the side,
just shot a coat of primer then he looked inside,
well him and my uncle tore that engine down,
I still remember that rumblin' sound.....

THE CHARGER PUNK

i believe the original 16? hotwheels got in the thousands range now dont they? hothweels are classics, johnny lightning are just exspensive little cars $10 for something i can get for 96cents? ill take the hotwheels :icon_smile_big:

Drache

Exactlly, why pay $10 for a small diecast car when a $1.25 Hotwheels is just as fun to play with!
