Anyone have part number for rear leaf spring eye bushing for a 69 charger? Stopped in at the dealer today and got the deer in the headlights look when i asked for the bushings. The guy told me that he only has listings back to 84.

I would try an aftermarket parts store or a spring shop.  If there is a good spring shop in your area they are likely cheaper than the delaer anyway.

Just suspension sells kits for urethane.   You need to measure if they're 1.5" or 2" anyway.   http://justsuspension.com/moparleafbushings.htm

I run the solids that came with the caltracs http://chucker54.stores.yahoo.net/solleafsprin.html

My dealer in Chattanooga also can't look up Chrysler part numbers below early 80's.  I asked why and the parts guys said they had to use a book which the owner of the dealership made them throw away.  I checked with other dealers out maybe 50 miles and ran into the same thing.  This seems to be a common thing.   To a lot of these dealers, the only thing they are interested in is money.  They have no brand loyalty at all.  I guess we are lucky that Chrysler is making anything of interest at all for us.

Apparently, some dealers have kept the books as I see ads for them in the MOPAR magazines for older parts.  I think Frederick Dodge is one.

The bushing for  the Hemi springs is 2403245.Without Hemi springs I believe the correct part number is 1948869.
