Size Magnum rims for a front power disc brake conversion

Looking for a FRONT PWER DISC BRAKE CONVERSION KIT for my 1970 Charger. And I am also looking to buy a set of Magnum 500 rims. What I need to know is what size rims should I get to work with a POWER Disc Brake conversion kit?

you can use 14's but a nice 15x7 should look pretty sweet. 15x8.5's in the rear.  what conversion you going with.  aftermarket or bolt on from previous mopars?? there are some good threads on here about disc brake conversions.  i have a Wilwood setup myself.

  pretty sure most if not all of the after market disc conversions  call for 15" wheels ,  SSBS  -  MP Brakes  etc

If the brake rotors are over 11 inches you will need 15's, but since you are buying new wheels anyway, there is no reason on earth not to get 15's, if for no other reason than to have a much larger selection of tires than is available in 14's.

Buy the 15's then you have no problems with any brakes that are commonly available, plus there are still a decent selection of tires!

Why power? Manual disks are great, excellent feel. An added benefit is one less potential point of failure.

15" magnum wheels will work with a factory style brake conversion like the single piston caliper and 10.87" or 11.75" rotor setups. Some kits that call for 15" wheels will not work with magnum wheels because they have a drop center. The scarebird rear conversion and the AR engineering viper caliper kit are a some examples.
