70 Charger SE Seat Covers???? Help

Hey guys, I think I have been taken....Moved some parts for a young kid last week, rear end and other misc stuff, a whole truck load of crap. In return he was going to give me a set of "NOS" 70 Charger rear seat covers he had gotten give to him.  Made an 80 mile round trip, paid for gas did the  loading and unloading of stuff and this is what I got. Maybe I am wrong, but these are not the 70 covers I am used to seeing.  They have been on before, are in great shape, but not NOS like he told me. Story he gave me was a neighbor of his bougt a 70 se charger new, and did not like the seat upholstery it came with, so he ordered a diffrent set. Said he had these stored back since 1972 and these were the original ones off of the car.  Had I known all of this I would not have wasted my time and gas. Went ahead and took them as the kid is pretty nice, and did not want to get into how they were not what I had been told they were. The grain does match the 70 upper pads.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I do not think these are 70 Charger covers.

Dosnt look right to me the inserts should go across the seat not up and down i just checked it against my 70 RTSE.

no that don't look like any  70 SE  seat cover i have seen , like (downunder charger ) says  the pattern is going the wrong way for a start .  third  generation

This isn't an SE, but the SE pleats go in the same direction as this seat.
