Being a Bronco's fan has not been much fun this year.  Hats off to the Chiefs and much as I hate to say it, to the 49'ers for their win Sunday.  They probably did us a favor as we would have probably been very embarrassed in the first playoff game.  Well, as they say,there is always next year!

You mean you'll watch Larry Johnson play the colts.

If I was the Chiefs he would carry the ball around 45 times in the game. I'd almost guarantee he will be close if not over 200 yards pretty easily against that Colts run defense.

That's the ONLY chance the Chiefs will have against the Colts is there running game- ranked 16th in the league.  No doubt, my boys have the worst defensive lineup in the league.  I think it's primarily due to all of the experienced players sidelined with injuries and the fact that their combined weight is the lightest defensive lineup in the league- the "bloody slaughter" in Jacksonville a month ago, proved that all too well.

But you have to admit, the stars were in absolute TOTAL alignment for the Chiefs to get into the playoffs anyway!!!!

The Chiefs, who in early December lost three consecutive games to slip almost out of the playoff picture, beat the Oakland Raiders on Christmas Eve to stay mathematically alive for the postseason.

But entering the final Sunday, they needed to:

• Beat the Jacksonville Jaguars in Kansas City.

• Have the Pittsburgh Steelers beat Cincinnati in Cincinnati.

• Have the New England Patriots beat Tennessee in Nashville, Tenn.

• Have the San Francisco 49ers beat the Denver Broncos in Denver.

It all happened, and when the 49ers beat the Broncos in overtime in a 4:15 p.m. game, the Chiefs had completed one of the most remarkable Sundays in recent NFL memory.

Like I said- the stars in total alignment.

There was no way a herman edwards coached team was winning a big game like that.  forget for a moment that he is too soft on the players, but his in game clock management and handling of things stinks...let's hope that mangini does a little better.

Peyton Manning will end up being the second greatest QB to NEVER win a Super Bowl.  I'll hand it to the Colts defense, they came to play.  For 3 quarters, so did the Chefs D.  Law is a Peyton slayer.  Their season is over next weekend tho. 

Herm isn't on the field during the two minute drill.  Trent does and has always done a decent job running it.  The Chefs have actually done a lot better than I anticipated this year.  I figure a few more years to be competitive and consistent with some minor rebuilding happening.    Herm's stamp on offense this year was obvious and predictable.

The Jets weren't built to compete last year only, the team wasn't gutted when Mangini came in.  Herm was partly responsible for the players brought in for who they are today, different coaching philosophy has helped as well as Pennington being the comeback player of the year.

I have been a Chiefs fan forever and it is the same ole bla bla bla. I knew it was gonna be run run run and so did indy. I think they should have changed the plays some. We have always been predictible. Untill we makesome managment changes we are gonna be juat like when Shotenhiemer was here......good seasons but couldn't get to the big one. I hope maybe Marty will do it this year.....your right I think Indy is done next week.
