Considering of building a 440 stroker (to somewhere around 500 cubes) let's say with a goal of around 500 hp and 600 tq
Will a (in good shape) rebuilt A833 4-speed hold this power and i mean longer than one year so pretty reliable i mean.

I'm not talking about a drag race car but a street cruiser that wants to shows muscle from time to time and maybe once or twice a year a 1/4 mile run for fun.
Regular street tires within normal format for a street car so no slicks or so......

So should i buy clutches per 10 from now on?

BTW, do I need a Dana for this setup or will a 8-3/4 rear end do?

NOS is nice, turbo's are neat, but when it comes to Mopars, there's no need to cheat...

wont be a problem...    my boss ran one behind a 800hp blown 440 for years and it lived just fine

The 833 will hold just fine and the Dana would be a good match to go with it!  Those two items together will take alot of abuse and look just fine at tear down.
