I have more questions:

1.  Is a bear Catholic?
2.  Does the Pope shit in the woods?
3.  Is it ok to yell "Movie" in a crowded firehouse?

Why the F*** does almost every mexican I see driving a car have at least one of the follow on the car or themselves:

1. COWBOY HAT
2. "Hecho en Mexico" sticker
3. Dents
4. Chrome crap you buy at AutoZone? (fake vents, chrome stickers, door edge guards)
5. Mexican Flag sticker

I understand the pride of being from another country (my family hails from Italy) so I understand but if you're so damn proud why the hell don't they go back? I being Italian do not fly an Italian flag and speak Italian everywhere I go.  I speak english and fly and American flag.

Speaking of Italy - why the hell did Mexico take the Italian flag and put a seagull with a piece of trash in its mouth on it?

Sure it's just Mexicans? I see Salvadoreans, Canadians, Brits, Armenians and Italians also rocking their native flags. What about those 27th generation "Irish" guys that have Shamrocks tattooed all over themselves but have no clue whatsoever about what it means other than "its an Irish thing"? There just happen to be a larger number of Mexicans in SoCal, but every time I try to watch Jersery Shore, I see the Italian flag plastered all over the place - and some of those dudes aren't even Italian.

Actually the Mexican Flag was around before Italy was even a united nation. Some principalities carried similar versions of the modern Italian flag, but even that was a ripoff of the French tricolor flag (three vertical bars).

As I said much earlier in this thread, yes its tacky but not much different than having NASCAR decals or the Rebel flag all over your car. Then again, maybe Mexicans just do it to piss off jackhats that have no clue about the history of the Mexican flag and ignorantly belittle it as having a "seagull with a piece of trash in its mouth". In that case, I'm all for it.

I don't watch Jersey Shore -  I just see it around here in SoCal more than anywhere else ---   I guess it all depends on where you live - I just think everyone should fly an American flag - no matter where your people hail from.       :yesnod:

Here here.......... I have an Iraqi flag in my garage.. It is a personal momento of my time in Iraq during my two tours of Iraqi Freedom, but I don't wave it around outside........ Displaying the flag of other nations during festivals and group activities in public I can buy, but to have a foriegn flag on constant display is offensive to the very country that gives you the freedom to do so. So, with that said, out of respect for the very country people have made a conscience decision to inhabit/come to, display the AMERICAN Flag with pride and honor....... And, by all means, please read up on the proper way to display "Old Glory"...

Chuck.

well, the indians were there even before Mexicans. With that said, and as I have already explained, most of the Southwest U.S. was Spanish territory, and after Mexican independence, part of Mexico. So you see, Mexicans didn't cross no border, the border crossed the Mexicans first!

I'm not sure what tribe I'm from. However, I did watch a thing on the History Channel about how Aztec nobility  bathed several times a day (which is more than can be said about their more "civilized" European contemporaries, who did it once or maybe twice a year). I guess they had to after spending most of their days sacrificing virgins and offering them up to the Sun gods and all. Since I have an almost OCD-like habit of showering 2-3 times a day, I have come to the perfectly reasonable and logical conclusion that I am a direct descendant of Aztec nobility.

If they could hold back from pillaging & sacrificing each other long enough, who would win in a football game between the Mayans & the Aztecs?

The Aztecs were warriors. The Mayas were a bunch of geeks. Draw your own conclusions.

Nope, remember how I explained earlier that most traditional Mexican music has a lot of different influences, from Polka to classical. Mariachi, although arguably the most unique form of Mexican music, is also an amalgamation of those influences.

Does pendejo=MFer?

No..."pendejo" is not quite as harsh. It's more along the lines of "a-hole" or "dumbf--k", but not quite on the level of MFer. "Chingar" is the Mexican equivalent of the F word...and just like the F word it is incredibly versatile. Its uses can range from the ultimate insult  - Chinga a tu Madre ("Go F your Mother") - to the ultimate compliment "es muy Chingon" (ie, "it's f--king badass"). I'd be very cautious in using that, as an uninitiated person might commit a terrible blunder while doing so.

Hey Ponch ®

AKCharger started a topic about needing a new roof on his house. Someone suggested that he find a Mexican roofing crew to get it done & save money. I don't know where he's located & whether there is a Mexican population in his area, but it makes me wonder, why don't Mexican roofers show up on roofing jobs with the terracotta tile type roofing that's common on southwestern homes?
