Hemi Charger 500, an update.

Love the choice of rims for the car. I don't recall if the car had a broadcast sheet calling for the W23 wheels or not, but its definately early enough to have been ordered with them.

Are you for sure going to have it out at Las Vegas? I'm still hoping to make the show, but I am not 100% positive I will this year.

This car has no build sheet, but the one that was one number off this one has it's build sheet showing the W23 option. They are both Sept 7/68 build dates. The W23 wheels were all re-called Sept 13/68. So the owner decided to put those wheels on this car, as it's brother on the Line had them.

And yes, the focus is still on having it in Vegas on time.

Have they talked to the current owner of the car that is sequentially right before this car?

Oh side note, the car that is 3 after that one, had the W23 chrome trim rings on the car, with dog dish hubcaps. Oddly enough.

I belive that they pulled the plug on the Kelsey wheels on August 17 1968. But I have seen build sheets up until December cars that still calls for them? I think they look killer on Chargers!

A broadcast sheet calling for W23 as late as December? Learn something new every day. Latest I had seen the W23 on a broadcast sheet was late in September of 68.

Car looks very nice. I just wanna know why there isn't any pictures of the car laying down those rubber strips? Those would have been the ones i would have posted. Pictures of Carl just going out and enjoying the beautiful car that he has.

Anyone else notice the gap between the top of the grille and the hood and how it tapers down on each side towards the fenders?  I guess this is how its supposed to be.  I just always thought the gap would be the same all the way across.
