For Christmas my parents got me a really cool Buddy Baker Daytona model. It's one of 1500 out of a LE series and is really nice. Not sure why, but I just thought I would share. Very good present!

Nice! I got something similar, although I inadvertantly bought it for myself. I bought this red '69 C500 RC car for my daughter but then my wife bought her a Lighting McQueen RC car and my other girl got a Sally so now we have three. I wrote "from Santa" on the Charger and gave it to myself. It's my first '69 and it's got a Hemi.

Damn Bull. 1st you're admitting that to all of us and 2nd your first 69 is plastic!!    ;D :icon_smile_big: :nana: :smilielol:

Sure does! That's the emblem from my sail panel stuck into the wrist rest of the keyboard.  :icon_smile_cool:

Nuthin' wrong with a Charger keyboard! :icon_smile_big:

I didn't really get anything Mopar related, but I did get this cool little gas pump boose dispenser.
I took the pic next to the coffee maker for a size comparison...it's big!

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Hell Grant, you'll be able to put that pump right into your mouth as you do some of your Friday night post sessions.   :yesnod:  This will make you more efficient and help to save wasted time by reaching for the glass.

I was a pretty lucky fellow this year.   :yesnod:

My Wife bought me a new watch, a few bottles of wine and a new pair of skates.  I also got a couple new pairs of coveralls for the barn / shop and a 2 gallon pail of Lizard Skin and the applicator gun.

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and all the best in 2007.

Those are some cool presents!!   :yesnod:
Tomorrow is promised to NOBODY . . . .

CHARGER_FAN, I got one of those last Christmas. They work great.  :icon_smile_big:

Cool stuff all around, guys.

I got a 1:24 Pro Rodz 69 Charger die cast in a flat-ish green colour. It's kinda neat.
Along with that, one of the kids got me a 1:24 scale police cruiser so I could pull the Charger over for a traffic stop.

A few CDs, some clothes.

My big gift is a new guitar - 12-string Fender acoustic-electric along with a nice case and a Stevie Ray Vaughan song book.

Totally surprised me.

My wife was totally surprised with the Dodge jacket that I got her. I posted about that in another thread here.
Now, she's a "car chick" as she puts it.

I have to figure out the ground rules with regards to when we both wear the jackets though. It was tough for me to fall in line with the whole "we match, honey!" deal, but at least it's not track suits!  :icon_smile_dead:

My kids bought that for me last Christmas...apparently, my old one was "too ugly". :ahum:

I'm about ready to drop-kick it though. If I don't watch it like a hawk for the first 30 seconds when it first starts brewing, it'll pee coffee all over the counter! After I pull the pot out & clean up the mess, it's good to go. I can't figure it out. :image_294343:

My father sent me the same gas pump a few weeks ago for my birthday. :2thumbs:

Is the coffee pot a "pause & serve" model? Sometimes there is a spring that keeps a rubber stopper in place unless the pot with the lid is under it. That opens the stopper so the coffee drips through. Maybe the lid & the stopper aren't lining up somehow?

Or.....

Maybe you just shouldn't be using the gas pump before you make coffee.  :D

Yeah, it's got a "pause & serve" on it, but the finger that the decanter pushes on is separate from the button on the strainer tray. So it runs from the strainer tray, down a trough on the pause finger, into the decanter. I've noticed it does is less often when I get up in there & thoroughly wipe off the finger trough area from coffee buildup.
It's just not easy to get in there, so I don't do it every day.
In other words, it's got too many whistles & bells...I just want something to make my coffee. Maybe it'll die soon. In the mean time, it is aesthetically pleasing. ;D

That's pretty cool that you, me & DCF have the same gas pump! Must be a Mopar gearhead thing, eh? :icon_smile_cool:  I'm gonna use Shakey's idea soon.
