New Oil Pan Recommendations?

I am looking to replace the oil pan on my 440 while it's out of the car.  The one that was on the engine was all dented up.  I was looking at 2 different pans, 1 is a Milodon stock replacement, the other is a Mopar Performance 6 qt pan.  The 6 qt pan looks a bit deep like it will hang below the K frame.  I'd like to avoid this due to some past experiences with pans that hang too long.  I destroyed the deep pan on my SS Chevelle because it hung too low and I don't want to have to replace this one for the same reason.  I guess if I had too, I could fix the pan that was on the 440, but I would rather have a new one.

I would consider that if the K frame wasn't already painted and back under the car with the suspension on it.  How low does the MP pan hang below the K frame??
