Just bought a '71 Charger yesterday and it is in my garage.  Sold my old Triumph GT6 about six years ago when our previous house had no garage.  Told my wife when we get a house with a garage I get a new toy.  Well, three years after moving into our house w/garage I finally got my toy.  This car is a lot different from my Triumph... it actually runs!!!  Car is in great shape outside, runs well, but the inside definitely needs work.  First on the agenda is a new dash and door panels on both sides.  Any suggestions on where the best place is to source these items?  Looking for basic black.  I'm sure I'll have lots more questions.  I like to drive them but will be the first to admit I am not the most mechanically inclined...
Thanks and Merry X-Mas!

Like Nacho said, the dash pads arent reproduced.  I was lucky enough to find a parts car with a good one, but it seems to be one of those parts thats pretty rare to come across in good shape anymore.  Try these guys out for some of the other interior stuff...  http://www.legendaryautointeriors.com/

And then get over to the general discussion forum and throw up some pics of that car for us.  :icon_smile_big:  Oh, and welcome to the group.

good stuff about 71/74 dash pads is LOOOTS of them still around: 4 years production, 73 was the best sales years to Charger, plus all B bodies ( Dodges and plymouths: Satellites, RR, GTX, Coronet, Charger and all station wagons versions ) use the same. Only difference is if they have the seatbelt/map ligh insert cut out or not above cluster area. Still is hard try to find a nice one but we have more chance than earliers models owners.

Oh, and Justdashes apparently also restore upper door panels. Justdashes is not cheap, I think las quote got for some member here was around $550 ( plus both shippings ) fro the dash, but I think it does worth for a LIFE JOB, instead the cheap dash cap option ( around $70-90 ) that will be pop up with heat allong the time, and frequently is not a perfect fit

beside legendary to the seat covers, you have any restores dealer able to get you them, joined to carpet and headliner. That's not really a problem. Anyway, Any upholstery shop should be able to make seat covers locally ( on restorer dealers you will pay around $500 just for covers without installing job )... I made mines down here in  Venezuela without problem, is not really a big deal. I paid around $200 including installing job for ALL the seat covers job and only difference it does have with originals is allmost unnapreciable, single seam on some areas instead double seam originals have, on both vinyl patterns join seam.
