Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

Thanks Troy.  :yesnod:

Another one bites the dust. Don't know where the guy got the idea it's an R/T though.  :shruggy:

Hey how do you get away with this being in the regular section, and not Ebay? JK

Always good to tag stuff like that for future collectors. So that no one gets shafted down the road.

Correct me if I am wrong but isnt it illegal to sell VIN tags?

From what I hear, yes it is illegal, but at the same time ebay does allow some of these auctions to run, so who knows?  :shruggy:  It's riveted to something, but I can't figure out what.

BTW, the high bidder is a member on this board.  :scratchchin:

Don't those look like original rivets? Maybe he ground the bottoms off from the back side? :shruggy:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Or he bought original looking rivets and then just mounted the VIN tag to a plaque or something to hand on the wall....

Yeah...according to the VIN it's a 383  1 or 2bbl car.   R/T???   I think not.   Besides.....isn't it illegal to sell a vin tag like that anyway??
