what tires?

what brand / type of tires would you recommend, i am probably going to be doing burnouts with my friends alot...so probably don't wanna by expensive tires,  but I would also like to get some traction for turns and straights.  I will have 17" diameter rims with 8" width in the front, with 9.5" - i think 5" backspace in the back, what size tires would you go with, i personally like the look of the 295s for the back, but don't know how wide to go in the front, or what aspect ratio I should get.  thanks.  vince

Nitto NT450s.

They make a 275-50-17 that fills the rear wheel well nicely and you won't break the bank.

Up front you'll probably want to go with the 225-50-17. They also make a 255-50-17 which I ran up front, but they were real tight (ie they rubbed occasionally).
