Stripes for my Superbee.

G'day guys,

just thought I'd let you all know that I ordered stripes for my 71 Superbee from Performance Car Graphics http://www.performancecargraphics.com/ just over a week ago, and they have arrived already - in beautiful Sydney, Australia.

Performance Car Graphics were recommended to me by someone on this forum, and I can only say I am VERY happy with the communication and service that I've had so far. Of course, the stripes aren't on the car yet, but I just thought I'd give them a rap for the excellent customer service they gave to me on the other side of the world.  They are a Christmas present from my wife, and she really wanted them to arrive in time for Christmas.

I have a feeling some people might not like the pics.....my car was a stripe delete car, and whoever had it before me put the black stripes on. Fair enough I say - looks great. The thing is, the stripes I'm putting on are white. Since I had the new white vinyl put on top (it's optioned with a white roof), I reckon white stripes are the way to go.

I edited a picture in Photoshop to see what it should look like.

A stripe delete superbee?  That seems almost pointless to order one without.     That would make it pretty rare I would think

I dont know I love the look of your car with the black stripe.  The white stripe really sticks out to me, and I dont know yet if thats good or bad.  Im curious what others think about it.  Its different, I dont think ive ever seen another in white.

myself, i like the white stripe i always thought dodge should have had the option of a black OR white stripe on the 71 charger they didnt have just balck for e bodies so why the charger? i have seen other 71 bee's and rt's with white stripes and to me they look good

trust me.....I'm not entering into this lightly. I'm praying the white will look as good as I think it will.

I must say though, standing near the car and having a real good look at it with the white vinyl, I can't help but think the white stripes will just compliment it that well. You're right though....it will stand out, but tell me that's a bad thing ?

I'm keeping the large bonnet blackout and it should be balanced with the rear wing staying black. I've done heaps of combinations on Photoshop with different angles. The hood blackout - in white - is too much, but it looks great with the white stripes.

i like it . Performance Car Graphics  is a great place to deal with . they go out of there way to make you happy. Rene
