What is that, snow?

No.  It's ice.

It's covering EVERYTHING.

God damn ice was so heavy, tree branches were snapping everywhere.  I'm waiting for this one to go...

Just to show you how thick this shit is...

You were able to post the pics so at least you still have power.  ;)

Ist been in the upper 60's or so here for the past 2 weeks, so what is this "winter" you speak of? If such a thing exists here in the south i wish it would hurry up and get here. I wouldnt mind seeing some of that white stuff you call "snow". Ice I could do with out.

Sort of.  We were running off of our generator all afternoon, and right now we keep having powerbumps.

whats fun is when you go outside with a pot of boiling water, throw it in the air, and it crystalizes and shatters when it hits the ground. thats what happened when it was -47 up here 3 years ago.

Silver R/T

you go outside in this temperature and soles of your shoes freeze to the ground as you're trying to walk. Talk about death trap!!! winter sucks!

75*F in Liberty County, Texas today.

56*F currently as typing this.

Supposed to be 68*F tomorrow.

Don't miss Portland's (Oregon) ice storms one bit.

Nor to I miss Anchorage's (Alaska) snow storms.

But on the other hand, Texas' 100*F+ summers aren't that pleasant either.

I'll take being able to drive year round though.  :icon_smile_big:

Thats nothing. Your freezing ice over our 2 1/2 feet of snow in less than 30 hours. The town 200 miles away got that anyways, we have about a foot or so since yesterday morning, and its still coming down. There were an estimated 116 car/truck accidents yesterday alone that they responded too. Pop is around 300,000. They're saying if you don't need to go drive anywhere for the next 24 hours at least, stay home. I miss the Seattle rain once again!
