Well this first one is hopefully going to be my daily driver. Sadly not a MOPAR but hey, for $750 I don't think it's that bad of a deal! T-tops, posi traction, shaker, automatic... just needs some good ol' paint!

The second is a car everyone will like better but it's not for sale....

As a closet Pontiac fan, I have to admit that I like both cars.  But you're right, I like the second one much better.
Both nice though.

Drache

Ghoste, you were right about the first being a Pontiac. It's a Pontiac Trans Am although I'm not sure of the year. The only bad part was the owner got pulled over for something and the car was being inspected. The owner made some comment about the inspector taking too long so the car got pulled off the road and given an inspection notice because of "faulty door pins". So the car is currently being inspected to see what it needs before I purchase it.

As for the '69 R/T the selling asked me not to disclose where it is. He doesn't want people continually stopping by asking if it's for sale.

Drache

The Cuda and the ramcharger both belong to the same friend of mine! The cuda is a '68 Notchback running a 440 and soon to be 4 speed with a line lock system to boot. Never asked about the Ramcharger though....

I don't know the prices cause I don't WANT to know lol! They are located in British Columbia Canada! I do know he traded his '69 super clone (middle of the resto done/bodywork) for these three challengers. As for pics.... here's the '72!

QuoteThis car is supposed to be an original 340 automatic rallye car, will be looking into it more and will post my findings. It has an 8 3/4 rear end, power steering and manual brakes. The car needs a total restoration or could be used as a donor. It has a spot of frame rot in the back in front of the axle. Non sure grip, no seats or instrument cluster.

Here is one of the '73s
QuoteThis car is originally a 318 automatic but they are both missing. It has an 8 3/4 open differential, bucket seats and floor slapshifter with console. This car was hit in the front and the inner fenders need replacing, i do not have outer fenders for it but i do have a flat hood for it. Non-rallye car, needs restoration or could be used as a donor. Options to be listed in the near future.

Here is the other '73

Power steering, manual brakes, blue one blue, more options to be listed. This car needs a total restoration, there is a bad spot on the roof that needs repair

Also before ANYONE asks... the black '69 Coronet with the 440 4-bbl has been sold!

Drache, as another closet Pontiac fan.... That T/A looks to be a 1980. It's in the 79-81 body style, but those rims remind of an 80 or 81.

That's what I'm hoping if the bloody inspection goes ok! My friend had to put a new starter into it before he took it to get inspected cause his brother "borrowed" it lol!

Your probably right about the Anniv. rims, but for the most part....   most T/A owners used whatever rims they liked. I had a 78 400 auto with snowflake rims (nothing unusual), and a 79 403 auto with 88 T/A GTA gold snowflake rims.

Drache, If it is an 81, make sure it doesn't have the Boat Anchor Turbo engine in it!!

I would drive a TA on the rainy days for sure... ;D

Seriously, I have liked them ever since I was about 18.  I was sitting on my front porch and all of a sudden a hot looking chick comes flying up in front of my house, whips about 3 shitties right in front of me on dry pavement and then takes off in the other direction...never did figure out who she was or why she did it but it was friggin awesome!

That is not something I would have liked to see!  Did she escape from a mental asylum or something?

I own several nice Mopars but also own a few Pontiac f-bodies. No excuses, I just do. Here's a Pic of my 79. It's a tricked out driver with Hotchkis suspension, and lots of nice goodies. The car looks and drives like a new car, only better. I normally don't put pics of my non Mopar cars on Mopar websites, but today I'll make an exception.

Well, given the thread, I certainly think it's allowed.  You have other F-bodies as well?

Don't have a clue...I like to think she just wanted to impress me...and she did.  I was like wow!  Did you see that!!

Here's a pic of another one of my f-body Pontiacs. 2000 T/A with hard top conversion, raptor hood, 17" miglias, LS1 6-speed.

To show a little courtesy to the board, I'm including  pics of my 71 Cuda and my wife's 73 Cuda.

T/A's are sweet ! They have to be the next best looking non-Mopar besides the AMC Javelin & Gremlin. Some consider the AMC's as a Moper but they are an AMC. Any way, I had a T/A, I believe it was a 81'. Looked like the Smokey & The Bandit T/A. Shaker Hood, V/6. I have to say that it moved OK for a V/6. I sold the car back in 95'. I will try to find the pic & post it.
Man, that car was fun to drive with the T-Tops off in the Summer !  :yesnod:

I am not really a closet Pontiac Trans Am fan....I freely admit liking them. :yesnod:  Here is my '77 Trans AM SE T-Top with a 400 4 speed on a fall cruise in 2004. I bought it back in high school for $500. At that price it took a little work of course. ;)

I'm also a closet T/A fan. I've had a '68 Firebird with the sprint six and a 3 spd on the floor,a '79 T/A with the 301 (not sure if it was the original motor) and a 4-spd, and the last one I had was a '78 T/A with the 400 and an automatic....All gone now.... But If I could find a decent Black and gold  77/78 SE project car it would be mine, Oh yes! It would be mine!
