How hard is it to rebuild a carb? Let's say speed demon 850 for instance.

Depends on the skills & experience of the person attempting it.

The Demon 850 is an emulsion tube type main circuit, similar, but different, metering system, than a Holley standard downleg booster Venturi type Carb.

If you don't understand the above, don't do it.

what problems are you having with it ?

No problems, but people suggested to have it rebuilt before I stick it on my 440. It doesnt look bad to me and guy I bought it from said it had just a few hours on it of dyno runs
