LAMAR HUNT PASSED AWAY LATE ON THE 13TH IN DALLAS AFTER BEING IN THE HOSPITAL FOR 3 WEEKS AFTER HAVING A BAD REACTION TO CANCER TREATMENT MEDICATION.
HE WILL BE TRULY MISSED BY THE PEOPLE OF KANSAS CITY AND THE NFL.
HE WAS THE PERSON WHO CAME UP WITH THE SUPER BOWL.

A truly sad day for Chiefs fans. :bawling: Lamar was so much. 

Growing up in western Kansas didn't generate much for fun. But all I had to do was get on I-70 and head east. Thank you Lamar for giving me that outlet then and today. You'll be up there with one of the other greatest Chiefs, DT #58.  As one of the grandchildren said, if there's not football in heaven, Lamar will initiate it.  :angel:
