Good looking 68!  Hope you enjoy it!  I'll bet it gets a lot of looks over there!

Congrats on the car of the month! Looks like a good starting point for a project.

Did you buy it from a certain Gerard?

Lizzy

Thanks guys  ;D
Everyone keeps saying it's a good project car, and everytime I hear that I think: Hmm... have I bought a project car?? She's not that bad looking, is she? I thought she looked fine like this, haha!  :icon_smile_big: :icon_smile_cool:
By the way... nope, no Gerard!  :rotz:

Arthu®

Good, not much of a fan of Gerard. He tends to screw you over the price... And they are expensive enough as it is.

Congrats to you...love the torque thrusts, car sits mean.

Troy

That's very cool! Congrats. Project or not, that car will look very nice after it's painted PP1 again. Of course, I have a thing for 68 Chargers with white tops and interiors. ;)

Troy
Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

Charger_Fan

Congrats! You're right, your Charger looks great. So it's not a show queen, it still looks good. :yesnod:

Looks like you know your way around an intake manifold too. :icon_smile_big:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Lostsheep_01

Congrats!  I look forward to seeing some more pics!  ^-^

I just realized, in that first pic, your parked next to Jeroen's car. :icon_smile_cool:
I'm sure you probably already know that his car looked about like yours before he started. :yesnod:

Congrats!!!! That's going to by one fine Charger when you are done. Are you planning on restoring it or keeping it just the way it is? Sticking with the 383 (great engine BTW) or going with a 440? Keep us posted on the progress and any needs/questions. We are here to help and are always interested in helping out a fellow Charger owner. Good luck with her! :icon_smile_big:

Lizzy-----congratulations on your purchase.  I can't imagine there would be much that Jeroen wouldn't know about restoring one of these cars so you are lucky to have him as a resource.  And I would like to say it sure is nice to see a woman involved in this endeavor.  Please keep us posted on your progress.

Congrats Lizzy
Belgium huh?   Must be a rare site to see a Charger there as well.  My grandmother used to live in Antwerp..

@Lost sheep 01: OK then... more pics...  keep scrolling... I'll try... ;D
@Charger fan: That intake manifold really worked my biceps, haha!  :icon_smile_wink: By the way...That's right, that is Jeroens car! He took a couple of fine pictures that day... http://www.charger.nl/liz.htm
@Hemidoug: I'm planning on restoring the car, in a couple of years. Maybe next winter she'll get a fresh coat of PP1... but first, I'm gonna do some driving, get used to the car and have some fun! I'm definitely sticking with the 383... could't stand the thought of driving an H-code with a 440 in it   :rotz: If I could choose, the Charger would be original paint, matching #s everything (one of my hobby's: decoding fendertags and broadcast sheets )... but too late for that...  ;D  I haven't got a buildsheet, so there are a few things I know from the fendertag... but also a lot of things I don't know. Anyway Doug, thanks for the help-offer, very kind of you  :yesnod:
@Chatt69chgr: I'm trying to push my girlfriends into buying a Charger... but that hasn't been successful... not al all...  :rotz:
@autodynamics:  :-[ Hmmm... Vin Diesel driving a 70 Charger... is what got me into Mopars  :-[  (I know... and I'm very very ashamed)  ;)  And also... driving a 70 RoadRunner 4 speed  ;D
@NYCMille: '68 is divine  :angel:
