Scarebird Disc Brake Conversion

Anyone have experience with the Scarebird brackets in daily street use. I really like the inexpensive concept, but the brackets appear to only support the caliper on the inside. All factory installations that I've seen, that have the brake force carried by the caliper, support the caliper at more than one point and the support points are near the centerline of the rotor.

Has anyone experienced significant wear on the caliper support or other difficulties?
