1974 fender mount lights

hi - should the fender mounted lights go on when i turn on the headlights??  one seems to go on and the turning yellow signal light goes dim.  not sure what is going on.  thanks

just turning... is a ground problem on parking housing light... check for proper ground at parking housing &/or socket itself... it could be some loosen and spining.
