Is that Joe Gerdelman's car?

Black Tie Classics has some of the highest priced cars I have ever seen. They have a '74 Challenger listed at $38,900.  :o I'll bet they want 500K for the Daytona.

That is Joe's car. It was in the Super Cars book.

So its a factory 440 powered car, but has a date coded HEMI transplanted in it? Is the origional motor long gone or what? And by having HEMI parts, did it somehow get the torque boxes from the factory or something?

Charger_Fan

I'm disappointed...I fully expected to see the gas tank chromed. :icon_smile_tongue:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

nascarxx29

The under carriage was shown in the super cars book.I believe it has the torque boxes.he might have the original motor if it was there when he got the car in 1979

I'll have to dig out my copy of the Supercars book. I think your right Dave I think it does show torque boxes in that book. I'll try to look it up here in a little while.
