MY 73 with a 318

Thats awesome! My wifes Grandparents did not maintain it there's like you did!  Here how it looked when I got it...I think its the twin of yours...

It had been painted at least once in its life.

It my Charger's long lost twin

The Charger emblem is located in two different spots in these photos, one on the door and the other on the fender. Which is the correct location?

Pete, I have never seen it on the door before have you checked out the third gen website? someone on there will know www.1971-1974dodgecharger.com

These cars are awesome!!   I have to say that 3rd gen chargers have really grown on me since I have been on this site.  I always liked the 68, but I really wouldn't mind having a sweet 3rd gen.   :2thumbs:

Why would you want anything else?  Just give me a Charger and I'll be happy.

mikesbbody

I hear ya SCD, when I met Johnny six pack from this site he said the same thing  :yesnod: they really do grow on you.
I would have a 68-70 as well as a third gen kinda like having the best of both worlds imo  :Twocents:

I just went through all of this thread....man, what a waste of space on the website. Nobody likes 3rd Gens!!!! :brickwall:

The emblem belongs on the door, near the front of it, just below that door ding prevention trim you have on it.

I LOVE this paint job here.    The way it shows the lines of the car,

Do know how many times I layed out the black stripe? It had to be at least a 10 or 15 to get it to look "right". Glad you like it.
