Not to steal this thread by any means, but when swapping the 318 -440     is there any clearance issues with the gear box on an auto

Sorry guys   - I don't want to hijack this thread either but is the shifter and linkages on a console 904/sb 727 be used on a bb727?? :-\

its the same as the bigblock stuff

Thanks Runner

I have alot of problems....     my problem withy their motor mounts are they are flat out shit ----   my little 320hp crate 360 broke the driver's side mount (in 3 days of not even "spirited" driving) and almost got me into an accident (motor torqued over and stayed at WOT)  so i send them a letter and they send me another mount - which breaks again in less than a week ----    this wasnt even with "spirited" driving...   as i was still going easy on the breakin on the engine....    so my past tells me Schumacher mounts are shit...     one - maybe a fluke - but two in a row ?  not a coincidence....     so I dont buy ANYTHING from them anymore.
