ok, has this happened to you guys?  My charger was running, then it wasn't.  I pinpointed the starter.  I replaced the starter then it wouldn't turn over.  I did the good ole screwdriver trick got it to crank, but no fire.  Now, I realize that I need an ignition coil, cause I'm not getting a spark.  So I replace coil.  Notice no fluid in radiator, so I put some water in it only to find a leak at the bottom of radiator.  Oh boy!!! anyone want to buy a 70 charger???

It's super cheap right now too isn't it?  ;)

Ok I got the car to run, but I can't run it for too long cause I got no water in the radiator due to the 3 4 inch holes

I think we've all been there....done that.   It's very frustrating...I know.  Just be patient...don't sell your car because of these frustrations....I've thought of selling mine a few times for similar reasons, but I'm glad I didn't.  In fact, I needed a new drum kit to tour with and I actually had a buyer come and check out fender tag numbers.  He came back two days later, with cash in hand,  and I had to tell him.."I just can't bear to part with it"  It ran fine at that time too.  We are all pulling for you.   It could be worse....like a connecting rod through the block??    lol....That's worse case scenario though.....just trying to paint a better picture for you.   It'll come together!!!    Patience!!!

Try to make a list of everything you can find that needs repair or replacement. Then try to figure out what you can take care of yourself and what has to be done by a pro. There are many of us here that can help figure out what is wrong or point you in the right direction to debug the old girl. Don't fret. You have the rest of your life to get it done. One thing at a time.   :yesnod:

Thanks for the support guys.  I'm a true mopar guy and will try to do all the work myself.  I'll kill myself before I take it into a shop.  I just don't trust mechanics who make a living ripping off people.  I'm just frustrated at how very expensive the parts are, but I'm just gonna look at the final picture.

I'm into my 69 for 18 grand, including purchase price, and it still isn't painted. I also have to remove my intake AGAIN and have another .040 shaved off so it will stop blowing smoke. It only has 1100 miles on it from its SECOND rebuild in as many years. I carry a gun for a living and damn near shot the thing. I thought better of it and asked questions here. I think I have it figured out, but keep my issued shotgun loaded just in case.  :flame:
If it ain't wide open; it ain't running.        Rule number one in motocross racing: Pin it; row the gear box; and wait until you hit something.     At work my motto is: If you need me, call someone else.
