So I understand MOPARs have their motors installed from the underside of the as a single unit, sometimes with the tranny attached. Is this accurate?

If so, I'm curious - I can figure out how to get the motor out of the car: like Jonhy Cash says, one piece at a time. But how can I re-install it without a garage lift? Can the front of the car be removed (hood, grill, radiator, etc.) and just slide it in straight back, or do you need to lift the car up and drop it onto the motor?

Next year (when I have a house and a garage: fingers crossed) I plan to rescue the car and start to re-do it so I can drive it. It's got 149,728 miles, and has sat for a generation, so I feel it deserves a rebuild. Just trying to get my ducks in a row before-hand.

in the factory the engine tranny & front suspension were all assembled & the body was lowered onto them , to do it the same way the body needs to be raised so the rad crossmember will clear the top of the engine & the body rolled forward Or the engine & tranny rolled rearward under the car which can be difficult to do in a normal garage , the enine & trans can be removed & installed from the top of the car as well  with an engine hoist
