My clutch on my 1968 Charger has packed up, made a horrible noise today every time the pedal was pressed and a few sparks were coming from underneath, so what information do I need to know what clutch to order as the gearbox on my Charger is not the original, I believe the gearbox is from a 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner but i'm not 100%, are they all 23-Spline? If it's any help in finding out which one I need I ordered this shifter the other week and it fits to my gearbox fine, so can you determine which clutch it is I need from the shifter?

And are there any makes reccomended over others , eg McLeod and and Hays etc, thanks guys

And is there any way of telling if it's 10.5" or 11" while the gearbox is still in as it's very difficult to measure, any tell tale signs?

The Chally that I pulled the Hemi from, it has a 4spd with a Centerforce clutch. To what I heard this clutch is one of the best out on the market.. But then again I dont know much about 4spd trannys...

Chryco Psycho

is the bel alum ro cast iron , cast is 143 tooth 11" , alum is 130 tooth 10.95 " , I use Nothing But McLeod B7B Or B&B / Long style clutches... Centerforce is Junk
the trans could be either 23 or 18 spline , you need to pull it to know or if you are really good you can measure the brg retainer sleeve just over 1" is 23 spline , over 1.5 " is 18 spline
