Warehouse Tour - Year One

Flew into Atlanta on Saturday on my way to SC and had to make a stop at Year One to pick up a few items for my car.  The last time I was there in September, Dan (the guy I've dealt with each time) told me of a '69 Charger they just bought that was sitting out back.  At that time, I was pressed and didn't have time to hang around.  This time, my Wife was breastfeeding in the parking lot (yes she was in the car) and the other child was sleeping so I had some time to kill.  After asking politely I was taken on a tour of the warehouse and shop.

This place is massive and the photos won't do it justice.  Enjoy.

Geez, I hope not :rotz: They'll probably just ruin it like the "Dukes" movie. Cool Pics though. I'd like to found that deal on the '69 Charger :yesnod:

Yeah - that '69 would have been a great find.  I can just picture the car sitting on a used car lot in some small town way off the beaten path.  Precisely why I very rarely take the interstate.   :yesnod:

As far as if it was in running condition.   :shruggy:

I can't see why not, with only 67K on odometer, I am sure that thing could be running very easily.

Thanks Mike for the pics....you really get around!

Anyone make out the last 6 of that VIN?  :scope:

348766??

I tried to get the complete VIN but as you can see, the tag was not in the greatest shape.  The VIN on the dash was covered with a parking permit sticker and I was not dressed to be crawling in and around the closely parked filthy cars.

My guess - 346736 or 346766

I messed a bit with the photos, keep guessing if you want fellas.

I would figure that you could enter it into the registry with a couple of x's in place of the questionable numbers and combined with the Y3 & F8 top, the mystery might unravel itself one day.

Vainglory, Esq.

What they did to that '69 Runner vert is just tragic.

Last time I was there, they still had the cars from 2Plastic 2Ridiculous.

Exactly what I was thinking. :yesnod: Please God, don't let it be cheezy.

Cool pics Mike, that's gotta be a pretty cool place to wander around.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)
